BIOGRAPHY

During my academic career as a teacher and researcher, I have observed the difficulties that people face due to traumatic experiences that sometimes prevent them from learning and achieving their goals, regardless of their intelligence and motivation. I enjoy helping students of all ages regain their ability to do academic work and offering guidance on dealing with procrastination and blocks.

For this reason, for two and a half years I have been studying the certification in Somatic Experiencing in Uruguay, offered by the Uruguayan Association of Somatic Experiencing . I am studying the Advanced level, corresponding to the last year of training. As part of the training, I receive individual and group supervision from professionals accredited by the International Association of Somatic Experiencing® International.

I am also very interested in supporting people who face the consequences of traumatic events such as accidents, chronic illnesses, or given the situation in our country today, have been victims of robberies, assaults or other violent events. I have a special interest in applying SE tools for people with disabilities or chronic illnesses.
